Yuxin Song

 We started cutting and sanding this week.  We finished cutting and sanding the chair part on Thursday. Here are some photos I took when working today. 

Last week, some test cuts are being made with the CNC machine after Friday's class.  Our chair group discussed possible ways to fit the chair. Our bigger group also decided to simplify the design slightly.  Jess also bought some spray paints and our group is paying for them together.  (photo credit: Daniela) We chose the chair designed by Nadia, and it was being finished this week. We will be building the chair this week. Because we bought some paints, we will also be painting them.

I am a part of the building team and I am also in charge of photographing and documenting the physical piece.  I totally forgot to upload these pictures... process printing... laser cutting... Attaching... Result they were a bit hard to attach due to the tightness. I think printing test prints are really important like Bryan was suggesting in critique.  Making a mold for the "wave" and casting it in resin is also a smart suggestion!
