Seescape Because the seat is a depiction of the sea and people will be sitting on it to see the sea (😂) b.) Background information 1.) What inspired this design? Nature? Creative works by other artists/designers? This piece is inspired by nature: ocean and mountains. This is an abstract depiction of the sea and mountain. The mountain texture is inspired by parametric design. 2.) What sets this object apart from typical furniture or sculptural work? The contrast between the smoothness of the waves and the structure of the mountain 3.) If a function object (i.e. furniture) what is the function? This is a chair 4.)
